In addition to outreaches particular to Faith Lutheran, groups and individuals from Faith also band together with others to help in our community and beyond. For those who are interested, there are many ways to join in efforts to assist materially and spiritually for those who are in need. Below are a few of our efforts to share God’s love.

There are opportunities for helping locally. Members from Faith take part in the Good News Jail and Prison Ministry, visiting and conducting worship services for men and women in Carroll County detention center. Each June the Ministry is involved in the Golf Tournament and in October or November, the Banquet.

Missions and Stewardship Ministry provides opportunities to donate to various entities, such as the Augsburg Lutheran Home & Village, ESCAPE Ministry, Lutheran Mission Society, Marriage and Relationship Education Center, Shepherd's Staff, and others.

Each summer, young people and their leaders from Faith Lutheran join with other churches around the county to participate in a Servant Event. These teens, college students and adult leaders grow spiritually and bond with each other as they travel to areas of need within the United States to repair homes for the elderly, disabled and others who are unable to do so for themselves.

In May, the church participates in the National Day of Prayer by holding an open house. At 12:00 noon the Pastor joins other religious leaders of many faiths throughout the nation by simultaneously reading a special prayer written by a national church leader. The church provides an evangelism table with handouts and light refreshments are served.

Missions & Stewardship Ministry sends members' donations to Brazil Mission Society, Cadence International, Compassion International, Concordia Seminary, LCMS Peru Mission, LCMS Uruguay, LCMS World Relief and Human Care, Lutheran Hour Ministries, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and others.

Faith also participates in Operation Christmas Child. Members fill shoe boxes with gift items such as toys, personal hygiene products, school supplies, and evangelism materials. The boxes are distributed throughout the world to needy children through Samaritan's Purse, a nondenominational evangelical organization.

Faith supports other national and international mission efforts through monetary contributions and prayer support.
