God’s Word, the Bible, reveals God’s plan for us. The Bible is perfect and without error, and it is the basis of our knowledge of God.
God created people for love and companionship with Him. However, people chose to turn against God. This willful disobedience, called sin, resulted in a broken relationship between people and God.
God is perfect and just, therefore He must hold us accountable for sin. The ultimate result of sin is death and eternal separation from God, but because of His great love for each of us God sent His only Son, Jesus, to die in our place and to pay the price for all of our sins. God freely gives His undeserved mercy, forgiveness, and eternal life to all who believe in Him and acknowledge that they are sinful and in need of Jesus to save them. Belief in Jesus is the only way to a restored relationship with God and to eternal life.
The Holy Spirit causes us to believe and trust in Jesus and equips us through God’s power for service to all people.
